Release 6.1 - July 2021
We are constantly working to improve your experience with SYNTHIA™ Retrosynthesis Software. Here is a summary of what has changed.
What’s New
- Explore chemistry around specific disconnections of your target molecule by designating a specific bond to be cut
- Use our new shortcuts in the molecule editor to define either retrosynthetic cuts you want to make or bonds you want to preserve
- Filter your manual retrosynthesis analysis results to remove unwanted reactions or focus on interesting intermediates
Fixes and Improvements
- Inventory compound information exported in pdf reports
- Support added for non-Latin characters in pdf reports
- Similar reaction suggestions improved
Chemistry
1260 new expert rules have been added, covering reactions such as:
- Asymmetric hydrogenation of flavones, chromones, cyclic imines and enamines
- Asymmetric reduction of various aromatic systems, such as pyrroles, furans, thiophenes, indoles, indolines, benzofurans, benzothiophenes, imidazoles, oxazoles, quinolines, isoquinolines, quinoxalines, quinoxalinones, N-iminopyridinium ylides, pyridines or pyrazines
- Enantioselective Simmons-Smith cyclopropanation
- Condensation of hydrazides with aryl nitriles
- Synthesis of dihydropyrazines
- O-phosphination of aldehydes
- Oxidative cross-coupling of trialkyl phosphites with thiophenols
- Oxidative cross-coupling of aryl-alkyl ketones with H-phosphonates and H-phosphine oxides
- Partial reduction of pyrroles
- Pinner reaction
- Synthesis of alkyl amidrazones from alkyl nitriles
