Similar reactions

The Similar Reactions tab allows you to search the published reaction database for similar reactions that may have appeared in scientific literature.

If the proposed transformation is found on similar substrates, the reactions will be listed with:

  • The reaction scheme displayed on the left-hand side.
  • Additional information provided alongside the scheme.

Information provided for reactions published in scientific literature:

  • Name of the article.
  • Similarity score.
  •  Published yield.
  • Reaction conditions.
  • Reference and a link to the original document.

Information provided for patent documents:

  • Similarity score.
  • Detailed procedure.
  • Reaction type.
  • Reference and a link to Google Patents.

Similarity Score

The similarity score is expressed using the Tanimoto coefficient, which compares the degree of similarity between structure fingerprints from the proposed reaction and published reactions. It ranges from 0 for no similarity to 1 for an exact match.
