If you see a reaction in SYNTHIA™ that may have an issue—for instance an incompatible functional group, a selectivity issue, or something you have tried and know does not work—you can let us know using the Thumbs Down button.
To find this feature, open the reaction card of the reaction you want to send feedback on by clicking on the reaction name in Pathway View.
Or click on the reaction node in Graph View and select the More Information option from the three-dot menu.
From the reaction details, you will notice a thumbs up and thumbs down button in the middle panel.
Clicking the thumbs down icon opens a new window where you can give us details on your feedback:
Let us know which category the reaction issue falls in—whether there is a strain or steric problem, the reaction is non-selective, there is a reactivity conflict, or something else. Leave a comment to describe the issue in more details. The more descriptive you can be with this information, the better we can address the issue you are seeing. Click Next to see the reaction scheme that will be sent to our development team.
If there is proprietary structural information you do not wish to share, please modify the structures accordingly and just leave enough information so we can understand the issue.
Once you are satisfied with your feedback, hit Send to automatically create a ticket for our development team to investigate and update the rules if necessary. Once completed, we will be in contact to let you know the resolution of the issue.
Help us keep our chemistry up to date by sending us feedback on a reaction!
